Editorial Policy
Skimzo is written and edited by me, Mohsin Rabanwaz. This page explains how I research, verify, and maintain the content on this site.
How articles are researched
Every article starts from a real, specific question — often one I’ve seen come up repeatedly among students and job seekers in Pakistan. I research using primary sources wherever they exist: official job portals, company career pages, government recruitment notices, and university career-services pages. Where I’m drawing on general knowledge from my background in AI and digital marketing, I only include it if I can independently confirm it’s still accurate. I do not copy or lightly rewrite other websites’ articles.
How numbers and claims are checked
Any statistic, salary figure, deadline, or eligibility requirement I publish is checked against its original source before it goes live — usually the employer, the portal, or an official notice. If I can’t verify a number with a source I trust, I either exclude it or explicitly label it as an estimate rather than presenting it as fact. I avoid vague claims like “many jobs require X” unless I can point to where that comes from.
How often content is updated
Job portals, eligibility criteria, and hiring processes change, sometimes without notice. I review older articles periodically and update them when I find outdated information, particularly for time-sensitive content like application deadlines, portal links, or salary ranges. Articles that have been substantially updated will note the revision.
Corrections
If a reader flags an error — factual, outdated, or a broken link — I investigate it personally and correct it as soon as I can verify the fix. Significant corrections (ones that change the meaning or accuracy of an article, not just a typo) will be noted at the bottom of the article with the date of the correction. You can report an error any time at info@skimzo.com.
Independence
Skimzo does not accept payment to write favorably about a specific employer, recruiter, or job portal. Any sponsored content will be clearly labeled as such and will still be held to the same accuracy standard as everything else on the site.
